Azzurro Mexico has the branding and licensing rights for LaTour Hotels and Resorts.  These rights allow us to provide the LaTour brand and services throughout this region.

 

LaTour Hotels and Resorts was created by Tom LaTour and John Small, two icons of the hotel industry. LaTour Hotels and Resorts is a recognized leader in the management of vacation properties since 2007. In concert with Azzurro Group, our team of professionals have over 150 years of combined experience in management, sales, operations and development of condominiums, resorts, hotels, mixed-use properties, private residence clubs, and timeshare vacation clubs.

 

Leaders in Vacation Rentals, LaTour is also affiliated with properties in Asia, the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Canada and the United States through our sister organizations.

 

LaTour Hotels & Resorts has been involved in the growth and expansion of the markets to Mexico's Magic Towns, acquisition of agreements with select high quality boutique hotels. Our emphasis is on increasing direct bookings to each property by introducing agressive marketing and practicing techniques along with exciting and innovative experiences. This goal is meant to improve the revenue stream of each client property while simultaneously reducing the dependence away from standard OTA use.

 

LaTour Group is committed to driving higher rental production of room nights and increasing the profitability through longer visits through our direct marketing programs.


Consulting Services

Through our LaTour brand, we have created a centralized organization and operational headquarters to serve small properties who seek support. LaTour works jointly with either single hotels or groups with multiple operations. 

 

We can drive stronger financial results created by the multi-destination product, either individually or through alliances and partnerships. We can oversee the evaluation of current and future hospitality projects. We can offer asset and project management for hotel groups and brands other than LaTour.


LaTour can evaluate potential commercial and hospitality projects which may fit more appropriately in our strategy or as Vacation Ownership properties.

 


Technical Services

Once a hotel begins its construction, specific efforts are required to make the hotel suitable for a successful operation. During the project development period, the Azzurro team will be fully involved in the tasks necessary for the development of the culture, concept, characteristics, amenities and services of each hotel. Azzurro and LaTour work directly with architects, consultants, financial and service providers to achieve stronger financial performance, increased customer service, and greater industry recognition from consumers.



Pre-Opening Services

Pre-opening services will begin several months before a contracted hotel is inaugurated and will require the following activities:

 

  • Recruitment and hiring of staff.
  • Staff training
  • Development of the annual operating budget.
  • Delivery of the facilities by the contractor.
  • Development of the sales and marketing program for the hotel.
  • Negotiating and signing agreements with marketing and sales channels.
  • Property promotion and public relations.
  • Development of a strong repair and maintenance program, and capital investment in the hotel.
  • Development of the area of reservations and guest services.
  • IT development, planning and implementation.
