John E. Small, Chairman and CEO

For more than 40 years, John Small has held key management positions at some of the world’s leading Hotels and Resorts and hospitality businesses including the Shangri La Hotel - Singapore, Block Hotels - Africa, Sun City Resort - South Africa, Sugarbush Resort - Vermont, and Sitmar Cruises, Royal Viking Line and Princess Cruise Lines, Royal Alaina Resort – Maui, and the Waiohai and Poipu Beach Resorts on Kauai. While under his management, these entities received worldwide recognition as leaders in the industry.

Most recently, before founding Azzurro, John founded and managed for 19 years, ResortCom International, a leading Management and Financial Services organization in the Mixed Use Resort industry. John is considered a leading expert in the field. Prior to ResortCom International he was a Senior Vice President of RCI, and CEO of RCI Management, which provided resort management service to the Vacation Ownership Industry. During his time with RCI Management, he was instrumental in growing RCIM from 19 resorts to over 43, in three and one half years. During his tenure, RCIM won 40 American Resort Development Association (ARDA) awards, and most recently was named as the Employer of the Year in the category of Timeshare Resorts.

Jeff Healy, President

Jeff Healy has been a high level executive in the resort, hospitality and vacation ownership industry for over 25 years, specializing in international developments. Beginning in 1983, Jeff practiced as a CPA and executive with KPMG Peat Marwick for 9 years.

 

In 1993, Jeff was hired as the Executive Director and CFO for The Villa Group (www.villagroupresorts.com). During that time, Jeff lived in Mexico and oversaw all financial, operational and administrative functions of their resort group, with various hotels and timeshare resorts in Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas. Jeff was also very involved in the evolution of the Villa La Estancia brand, one of the most successful fractional projects developed to date.

 

In mid-1998, Jeff became a partner in a resort services company, ResortCom International (www.resortcom.com). In this role, Jeff was the President of ResortCom for the next 13 years. Jeff ran this operations, along with his partner, John Small, who had many years of experience running top luxury hotels all over the world. ResortCom provides financial services, reservations and travel call center services, resort management and marketing and lead generation marketing for the shared ownership industry (both timeshare and luxury fractional). ResortCom also developed one of the most advanced and complete technology and software operating system for the industry to date. ResortCom has over 85 resort clients located in the US and internationally, with most in Latin America.

 

Also, in this role, Jeff and John negotiated a new joint venture partnership with Tom LaTour (former CEO and Chairman of Kimpton Hotels), to form LaTour Signature Hotels and Resorts and ResortCom Elite (luxury resort management).

 

In 2011, Jeff entered into the joint venture, called Club Tesoro Resorts, LLC, with Steadfast Companies (www.steadfastcompanies.com), a $2B real estate investment company in Irvine, California, to create one of the most current and consumer desired vacation ownership programs in the market within their hospitality division. Jeff was the Managing Director for Club Tesoro Resorts through September 2017.

 

Since 2004, Jeff has been a general partner in PDS Resorts. The group has owned and managed various hotels in Mexico. In addition, the group has run very successful vacation club membership programs within those properties. Jeff is active in their current membership program – Club Costa Vida.

 

Jeff and his wife, Maureen, along with an on-site operating partner, are also owners in Jersey Mike’s Subs franchises located in Reno, Nevada. They currently own three stores. Jeff’s education was a Bachelors of Science with an emphasis in Accounting from San Diego State University.

Jeff lives in San Diego, CA with his wife, Maureen and three daughters.

Sari Dewi, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer - Bali, Indonesia

 

Sari Dewi is the founding partner of Ray White Indonesia, a leader in residential real estate with specialities in buying, selling, or renting. After launching in 1997 with six offices, Ray White Indonesia’s presence grew in three years to 40 businesses. Today the network’s 160 offices are located in 25 cities across 17 provinces with more than 2,000 salespeople. The ambition is to have 250 offices by 2020. Sari is currently the Chief Operating Officer for Ray White Indonesia.
